Description:

Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Business Analyst.

Business Analyst will be reporting to the VP Business Development and will be also closely working with a variety of people across the company and customers.

As a Business Analyst, your primary responsibilities are:
* To support key account management strategies in demonstrating through asset performance statistics the value of company's service provides
* To identify new opportunities (and qualify know opportunities) for cost savings, efficiency gains or additional barrels within selected key customer accounts
* To support business case development for new customers as part of the sales engagement process

Responsibilities and Duties:

1) To support key account management strategies in demonstrating through asset performance statistics the value the company's service provides (for each customer);

* Agree the key performance metrics for measurement e.g. spend, Downtime, MBTF, cost of maintenance planned and repairs, Number of trips, SMPP delta, barrels data, choke, previous losses, bad actors, top reasons for losses within each bad actor etc.
* Establish a model for each customer asset (generic template)
* Extract system/ asset data from the client from multiple sources (contextualise collated Operational Data including bu not limited to Production Loss, Failure Data, Production Efficiency, Manpower Cost, Spare Parts etc.)
* Present historic metrics over the last 2 years
* Provide dashboard (via company SharePoint) that nominated Account Managers can view metrics
* Provide monthly updates to the metrics with latest vs historic and deltas (to include all new losses, trips and reasons - reasons to be segregated by system outage or indirect knock on outage etc.)
* Extract positive messages and provide visual metrics (with forecasts where possible) pack to nominated Account Manager
* Identify, distinguish and analyse multiple components of a problem, make recommendations for business change, identify and raise potential opportunities
* Identify commercial value drivers from the analysed data and how company can reduce cost or extract more value
* Using the above information provide through recommendations to the nominated Account Manager to support strategic decision-making
* Benchmark customer to customer, asset to asset, system to system, establish new norms vs historic

2) To identify new opportunities (and qualify known opportunities) for cost savings, efficiency gains or additional barrels within selected key customer accounts

* As above in addition for selected Key customers
* Track metrics on a weekly basis, provide high resolution on trends and predictions in a dynamic manner
* In depth analysis of budgets, operations and maintenance plans and forecasts
* Compare/ benchmark inter account asset performances against each other and historic, identify leading and lagging practices
* Leverage technical expertise (internal sources) to qualify the opportunities
* Provide timely, proactive suggestions to the nominated Account Manager on potential interventions
* Track risk/ reward commercial model weekly

3) To support business case development for new customers as part of the sales engagement process
* Assess customer production loss and maintenance expenses data, substantiate target systems and assets
* Identify opportunities to access public or OGA data (where available) to qualify opportunities and potential targets

* Business/ Economics Degree

* Strong quantitative skills such as statistics and data analysis
* Advanced and strategic thinking skills
* Self-starter, strong initiative & leadership
* Excellent IT skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Ability to prioritise, work under pressure and to meet strict deadlines

* Ability to work independently on own initiative and to contribute as part of a team
* Willingness and ability to be flexible
* Ability to get on well with a wide variety of people
