Description:

Carlton Resource Solutions' client is a leading and well respected Accountancy Practice Firm in Aberdeen. We're actively sourcing an International Employment Tax Manager/Senior Manager due to increased demand for their services. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual in International Employment Tax, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the portfolio of internationally mobile tax clients from a compliance and advisory perspective.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the international employment tax and social security compliance and return preparation.
• Heavy emphasis on Norwegian compliance and the interaction with UK NIC and PAYE arrangements.
• Responsibility for reviewing correspondence with HMRC/overseas tax authorities and dealing with tax enquiries.
• Coaching and performance management of other members in the team, in addition to the identification of training requirements and areas for development.
• Responsibility for the management of clients’ work in progress, together with feeing arrangements.
• Client liaison and consulting activities, including identifying and developing wider business opportunities.

Individual:

• Detailed knowledge of Norwegian employment taxes (is a must), being qualified ACA or CTA, or equivalent qualification experience
• Experience of Personal and Corporate Tax
• Highly numerate with keen attention to detail
• Strong communication skills – both written and oral
• Ability to plan and prioritise workload, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
• Strong client engagement and management experience with the ability to develop new business
• Ability to take ownership and use initiative to resolve problems
• Strong business acumen and commercial awareness
• Ability to adapt to changes in the external environment rapidly and to respond to clients appropriately in this context
• Good team player with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels
• Experience of leadership and delegation
